If I have learned one thing from my job, it is go with the flow. Babies will cry. Toddlers will hate you. Cakes will go un-smashed :) . If you sit, wait and maybe play, you will get those smiles you came for.

Happy first birthday M!!! You are adorable and I hope you didn’t have a tummy ache after only eating the pink fondant sprinkles.

First, I want to thank everyone for their sweet comments on my very small wedding details blog post.
I have never received so many sweet and positive comments, it really made me feel awesome! Thank you! I promise there are more wedding pictures coming soon.

But for now, here is newly 2 year old Mason and his baby sister, Delaney.

I have to admit, I am always super jealous of beach sessions. I love the sand, the waves, the sunsets. It never occurred to me that I could “fake” a beach session 1 mile from my home at Houston Lake, Missouri!
I met up with the ever adorable S family for a quick mini session.

Don’t you wish you looked this amazing while 7 months pregnant?!

Little Ms. K is one of my all time favorite babies! I met her at 5 weeks old (see this blog post here ) and feel in love.
She is hands down the sweetest and happiest little thing, and look at those cheeks!

If there are a few things I love in this world, it is sweet girly clothing and vintage/antique items.
My grandparents were avid antique lovers. They owned their own antique shop in Weston, Missouri for many years.
As far back as I can remember, my grandfather would go to auctions and I would just watch all the people take pretty items home. I remember him telling me that bidding on the bundles of “junk” were always the best because you never know what could be in them.
Now that I am an adult, and both my grandparents have passed on, the love of going to auctions stays with me.
I can now share with you one of my awesome auction finds, an antique cradle. Which little Ms. L. looked so cute in!

Today while driving through the neighborhood, I saw a commotion of people and about cars. There was an auction and I knew as soon as I saw it, I had to be apart of it.
For a whooping $29 I walked away with an antique doll cradle, a vintage beat up rusty old trike (LOVE it though!) and this…..

No, not the cute baby. The highchair! I have been looking for one for such a long time. I can’t tell you how excited I was win I won it. Pouring rain, hail and all!

Baby Kali happily modeled the chair for me, isn’t she cute?!
