Today the light was just gorgeous. Not to mention the perfect weather, aren’t we in the winter months? No complaining here, I hope it stays in the 60’s for the rest of the season!
Here are a few of my favorite from today.

Braved the cold ….

October 10, 2009

It’s October and already in the 30’s! Whats going on, weather?
I had a great shoot in Parkville, Missouri today. Got a little silly, I think the mustache was a classy touch though!

Isn’t little B so cute? Thanks for meeting me this morning guys!

There is a certain value to a really good, breathtaking portrait and its not monetary.
I belong to a few charity photography programs that I love, but this is so much more.

This December 12, I will be participating. Your job, as my loyal Kansas City readers, is to nominate a family, a person, a child. I want to hear the stories. You can choose to email me (which might be the best bet) or post it in comment form here.
Your job, as my fellow Kansas City artist, film makers, make-up artist, clothing designers, is to help me help another in need. Please contact me if you want to help. Even the outreach of food on the table for a family (if necessary) would be a great gesture of kindness for someone else. I can’t do this alone, I need your help!
Depending on the amount of help I have, I could make a day of this. But at the very least, I would like to do at least one shoot.
Help me make this Christmas a little bit brighter for one family, or more.

Today I had the cutest little family for a shoot down in Platte City, Missouri.
Tell me this is not one of the cutest babies you have ever seen?! I couldn’t keep my hands off her, she is just that cute!

The last one is probably one of my new favorite pictures!
Thanks for a great time you guys, I hope you like your sneak peek and your gallery will be ready soon!

I love shopping. I love everything about it. I love coming home with tons of bags. I love coming home to tons of boxes on my front porch and an angry mail man.
Definition of a shopping addiction: ME!
I get asked all the time, “What do we wear?”
Let me show you! These are just examples, I am sure you can find them any where! Even *shock* the thrift store. Which, by the way, is one of my guilty pleasures. See, you learned two things about me tonight! I have a shopping addiction AND I love thrift stores. Knowledge is power people!
Lets start with little girls. They are easy.
These items are from J.Crew *crewcuts* Love!

Outfit 1 dressy

Now, I know at times I do say no white, but this peacoat is a necessary evil! Man, I am getting this in all colors for my daughter.

I hope that helps some one! Tomorrow I will blog about adult clothing. It’s late and my four month old is throwing a party, apparently.

I have had a ton of sweet comments on my new logo! Thank you!
Sadly, I can not take the credit. I had Sugar Lime Designs (www.sugarlimedesigns.com) design it for me and I could not be happier! Now all I need to do is get off my lazy behind and change it on my website….
Any how, she is an amazing graphic artist, and has TONS of other cool stuff too.
Check her out for sure!
