February 4, 2011In honor of my 3rd year business anniversary (ok.. I am a little late…. it was last month!) I have asked some of my FAVORITE vendors to participate in a blog giveaway!
Contest will end Feb. 10th at midnight. All winners will be notified via email the following day. I will put each persons name/email in a hat for each vendor and choose that way.
FIRST you must LIKE Goody Two Shoes Photography on facebook. Please comment on the facebook fan page that you have “liked” it.
SECOND “share” the contest on facebook, tweet, or blog. each gets ONE entry toward the vendor giveaway of your choice.
REPEAT the first two steps for additional entries. LIKE the vendor of your choosing (or all!) comment on their page that you entered and share/tweet/blog about the contest and the SPECIFIC vendor. Come back here and comment for each vendor you do this for.

If there are a few things I love in this world, it is sweet girly clothing and vintage/antique items.
My grandparents were avid antique lovers. They owned their own antique shop in Weston, Missouri for many years.
As far back as I can remember, my grandfather would go to auctions and I would just watch all the people take pretty items home. I remember him telling me that bidding on the bundles of “junk” were always the best because you never know what could be in them.
Now that I am an adult, and both my grandparents have passed on, the love of going to auctions stays with me.
I can now share with you one of my awesome auction finds, an antique cradle. Which little Ms. L. looked so cute in!

April 25, 2010Met little A. Hands down, by far, the best 15 month old I have ever had to deal with. Ever!
I can’t tell you how impressed I was by all this little one knew, and how amazing she was with listening.
I think she needs to come over and teach my 5 year old a thing or two.
Not to mention, those curls, that skin, those eyes! What a knock out. It was hard not to turn all these images black and white, she makes them look so amazing.

April 13, 2010These could both very easily be two of my favorites from 2010!!!
The boys are just so sweet, even the oldest was busting out in a little “pants on the ground” (American Idol, for those that don’t follow) song and dance!!
I get the privilege of attending and photographing this awesome couples wedding in September, I can’t wait!
Sorry for the lack of updates lately. We have been having some major internet/uploading issues. The cable company is coming out tomorrow to try and fix it!
Until then…..
It’s funny, but sometimes the little guys do not want to smile, or eat their 1st birthday cake.
And that is just fine! We still ended up with some cute images from this urban cake smash in downtown kansas city.

There is something about old friends. Friends who have seen you at your worst and at your best. Something about someone that calls you “numb nuts” every time you text or call them…..
My friend Jorge, is a talented actor (not to mention, a great flair bartender!!) and lives right here in KC.
We have been through some crazy (and I mean CRAZY) times together. If I ever need a good time and someone to cheer me up out of a bad mood, I know he is the guy to call.
We met up outside Rhythm & Booze and took some quick portraits to update his comp card and portfolio.
