In honor of my 3rd year business anniversary (ok.. I am a little late…. it was last month!) I have asked some of my FAVORITE vendors to participate in a blog giveaway!
Contest will end Feb. 10th at midnight. All winners will be notified via email the following day. I will put each persons name/email in a hat for each vendor and choose that way.

RULES
FIRST you must LIKE Goody Two Shoes Photography on facebook. Please comment on the facebook fan page that you have “liked” it.
SECOND “share” the contest on facebook, tweet, or blog. each gets ONE entry toward the vendor giveaway of your choice.

Fall Mini Sessions !! | Kansas City Missouri photographer

This September 25th and 26th are my fall mini session dates. Due to my schedule this year, these will be the last mini sessions until 2011.

I am offering digital mini sessions only this year! I know the demand to have the digital files is at an all time high, so this is a way to have a quick session and afford the files all in one.

$250 gets 20 minute shoot time

at least 5 digital files on CD in a custom CD case.*

20% off any holiday cards (ordered when the CD is picked up)

Due to the nature of the mini session, I will only be taking 5 sessions per day, a total of 10 mini sessions that weekend. These will book up quickly. $250 is due upon booking.

Sessions start at 9am.

Saturday sessions will take place in Parkville, Missouri. (Only 3 sessions left!!)

Sunday session will take place in Mission, Kansas.

Breaking out, the contest! | Kansas City Missouri children’s photographer

By now you have probably read this post on my blog. If not, clicky on over there, man.
The other day I kinda thought it would be fun to have a contest. Then, I was cleaning out a junk drawer and found a $25 gift card to Canvas On Demand. Now, I have been needing to order new canvas of my little chickens, but I just haven’t had the time to find the perfect picture. And, I am in a rut.
SO.
I give you, a contest. Go out and shoot. Shoot until your brain hurts. Edit a little different, try new things!
Do something you have never done before. Try the golden hour, shooting in full sun or shooting at 7am!
Whatever your little heart desires. Just break out. Break out of your normal every day stuff.

Email me your pictures by 10pm EST tomorrow, June 12. rachael@goodytwoshoesphotography.com. I am not giving you a topic, because, well, I couldn’t think of one. I am just looking for something that pushes the limit. Something that is different from what you normally do, but still has YOU in it. I will be looking at your blog and or website.
I will pick the top 5-10 pictures that I love, then I will have a public voting in comment form on my blog.

WHOA! i never thought my little contest would get this much attention! i will extend the deadline to wednesday jan. 6 at 11.59pm.

I thought I would try something new to ring in 2010.
There are so many pictures this year that I just adore, I have such stylish clients! Instead of me just picking my favorite, I thought I would have you help me.

Below are my personal favorites of 2009. I would like you to vote on which YOU think is the best. Each has a number. You can simply comment with the number, or say why you love the picture, if you know the person(s) in the picture, etc. It’s up to you!

File this one under personal, its my sweet baby Charlotte gracing your screen again.
I found this romper today doing something I love to do, thrifting! It’s a weakness. The two youngest and I hit the stores today while the oldest was in school.
I saw it and visions of frilly socks, vintage toys, patent leather shoes, and of course, the rachael trade mark bow, filled my head.
She tested me. She teased me. She tried to eat and lick the ground more times than I would have preferred.
She is a ham and I love it.
However, I would love better pictures in this romper! Its not happening with ms. squirmy pants. She is almost too big for it.
So, you have a 6 month old sized baby girl? Think this romper is to die for and you just NEED, and man I mean NEED pictures in it?
Great. First one to contact me gets a session on me, vintage baby style, yo.
