Little Sam and Sophie are just as cute as can be, and certainly full of energy! We had a fun time playing right in Liberty Square with an old chair and some sidewalk chalk.
I hope the S family loves these!

I just love doing Operation:Love shots!
Say hello to the cute P family, we did a quick reunion shoot at the airport, than later that week had a family shoot.
Welcome home, I know first hand how great it feels to have your family together again!

I got to spend some of a morning with the H family. Little T is just the most adorable thing!
He got a very much deserved treat at the end of the session from yours truly.
Here are a few from our time together, I hope you like them!

Especially for the K children. They met me today and it was all smiles through the bitter cold. We didn’t last longer than 45 minutes, that is for sure!
It’s always a pleasure taking pictures of these kids, this is such a fun family!

This has been a good week for me. First I was nominated in the top 5 (4th place!) Kansas City portrait photographers, and today I was one of the 45 photographers selected from hundreds to participate in a Matilda Jane contest. So be on the look out for some super cute clothing modeling from my little Addie soon!
We love MJ check it out at www.matildajaneclothing.com
These two little girls were so sweet! I had a great time getting to know and photograph your family. Thanks for sharing some of your morning with me!

The age old question that most people as is what should they wear to their family session. I have done a post like this before, but I thought I should briefly revisit it.
Brown and black are super popular right now, so most of my choices are those colors. But don’t be afraid to put some bright colors into the mix. Blue heels or a bright red scarf! Get interesting!
All of these items are all from Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy. If a specific item catches your eye, ask me about it and I will let you know where I found it.
I didn’t add any in these pictures, but Target has some SUPER cute dresses for toddler girls right now for $10. I snagged both my girls some, even though my oldest has been out of 5T for awhile. The dresses were longer and can work for older girls.
These are ideal for family sessions. Baby sessions I can blog about later. I love bright colors for babies.
If you ever have any questions about what to wear, don’t hesitate to ask. I am a recovering shopping addict! Ah, semi-recovering, haha.

I had to take a bit of a break, reschedule some things and take a few days. My beloved Grandfather passed away and he will be very much missed. Thank you for the sweet emails I have been receiving in my families time of mourning for a truly great man.
If you have not already, PLEASE vote for me for the Kansas City A*list. Tomorrow is the last day.
I met up with a friend from high school, and her sweet baby Lucia. Here are a few sneak peeks for you guys.

Best laid plans. I thought a pumpkin would be adorable. She was way too interested in the stem to bother looking at me, or even her Mama!
Thanks Angela, Lucia and Mary-Kate for helping carry around my stuff. It takes a village, people.

Today I had the pleasure of taking some adorable shoots of the A family. Here is a peek for you guys, I hope you love them! You all were so much fun.

Today I had the pleasure of working with the L family for an Operation:Love Reunited shoot.
These shoots are very near and dear to me, and this is my favorite charity.
These two little cuties were so patient the whole time, I couldn’t believe it!

Thank you L family! That is just a sneak peek for you. I hope you love them, and I enjoyed working with you today.
