when i planned this little shoot with sweet ava and her mommy, i had no idea that ava actually loves lemons. not actually something you would think a 1 year old would munch on, but she went after them.
i had so much fun (despite the 110 degree heat index!) photographing little ava a few days after her first birthday.
if you know me, you know i LOVE babies. obsessed, really.
now that i am starting to realize my snuggling my own little newborn baby days are long gone, i always swoon when i know family or friends have been blessed by a new little one. you know i am the first one to want to cuddle that sweet baby! and no, i don’t share. 
so lucky me, when we went to st. louis for a wedding, i had my very own 10+pounds of sweetness to cuddle with and photograph.
if i could use one word to describe Alicia (besides gorgeous!), it would be glowing.
even at 40 + weeks i didn’t hear one complaint or grumble about being overdue. she was all smiles and her portraits reflect her beauty.
can’t wait to photograph her little man.
